Choosing your child will always be the easiest decision to make, even when it’s the hardest one to carry out.
I spent the best part of this year pouring my heart into planning a trip, only to stay grounded because my little guy got so unwell. The good news: he’s on the mend today and back to his full, cheeky self.
Trying to understand the universe and its timing can be exhausting, but missing that flight taught me a few lessons I didn't know I needed:
✨️Family always comes first. Sometimes you have to disappoint people or pivot plans, but choosing your child is always the right call, and that is completely okay.
💡It’s okay to let go of control. Trusting others and stepping back as a control freak is scary, but necessary.
⚡️Two feelings can exist at once. You can feel genuinely sad about missing out while being 100% happy and at peace with your decision.
🌟To the incredible friendships made along the way and every single person who reached out—the love and support has been deeply overwhelming. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

If you’ve ever wondered what goes on in an instructor's head when they have to shift gears from high-octane cardio to deep zen, and then straight into a core-burning furnace... here is a behind-the-scenes look at the daily energy transformation.
🚴‍♀️ Phase 1: Cycle (The Hype Queen)
The Vibe: Pure adrenaline, stadium-level concert energy, and heavy sweat.
My Inner Voice: "Who cares if it’s 6:00 AM? We are climbing a mountain and the beat is dropping!"
The Persona: Part DJ, part drill sergeant, part spiritual leader. I am yelling over the bass, high-fiving the front row, and pretending my own legs aren’t on fire.
🧘‍♀️ Phase 2: Stretch Reformer (The Zen Master)
The Vibe: Dim lights, soothing sounds, alignment, and deep, luscious inhales.
My Inner Voice: "And... melt into the carriage. Let it all go."
The Persona: Immediate vocal drop of about three octaves. I transition from screaming "LET’S GO!" to speaking in a gentle, buttery whisper. The energy is soft, grounded, and focused on releasing the exact tension I just built up in cycle.
🔥 Phase 3: Hard Mat Pilates (The Smiling Assassin)
The Vibe: Slow burn, endless pulses, and a core that feels like it’s being re-sculpted by hand.
My Inner Voice: "Yes, we are doing another round of the hundreds. No, you cannot go home yet."
The Persona: The most dangerous version of an instructor—the one who smiles warmly while calling out endless side-kick series. It’s quiet intensity. No bike momentum to help you here; it's just you, gravity, and the burn.
The Verdict?
Going from "Scream-singing on a bike" ➡️ "Whispering sweet nothingness on a reformer" ➡️ "Politely destroying cores on a mat" is an absolute wild ride.
But honestly? Having the power to match whatever energy my clients need on any given day is the ultimate superpower.

When you spend your life immersed in movement, fitness, and health, it’s easy to fall into the trap of viewing your body through the lens of performance, aesthetics, or "work." We get so caught up in what our bodies look like, or how hard we can push them, that we forget the most beautiful truth:

💛Our bodies are meant to be experienced, not just looked at.
Getting injured is a jarring reminder of how quickly the things we take for granted can be stripped away. Suddenly, the worry about a missed workout or how a certain muscle looks completely melts away. The narrative shifts from

"How do I look?" to "I just want to heal, move without pain, and feel whole again."

🌼The True Meaning of Body Gratitude
It shouldn’t take an injury to make us appreciate a healthy, functioning body, but sometimes the universe forces us to slow down and listen.
🌼Your body is your home: It breathes for you, heals its own wounds, and carries you through every single chapter of your life.
