🚴‍♀️ Phase 1: Cycle (The Hype Queen)
The Vibe: Pure adrenaline, stadium-level concert energy, and heavy sweat.
My Inner Voice: "Who cares if it’s 6:00 AM? We are climbing a mountain and the beat is dropping!"
The Persona: Part DJ, part drill sergeant, part spiritual leader. I am yelling over the bass, high-fiving the front row, and pretending my own legs aren’t on fire.
🧘‍♀️ Phase 2: Stretch Reformer (The Zen Master)
The Vibe: Dim lights, soothing sounds, alignment, and deep, luscious inhales.
My Inner Voice: "And... melt into the carriage. Let it all go."
The Persona: Immediate vocal drop of about three octaves. I transition from screaming "LET’S GO!" to speaking in a gentle, buttery whisper. The energy is soft, grounded, and focused on releasing the exact tension I just built up in cycle.
🔥 Phase 3: Hard Mat Pilates (The Smiling Assassin)
The Vibe: Slow burn, endless pulses, and a core that feels like it’s being re-sculpted by hand.
My Inner Voice: "Yes, we are doing another round of the hundreds. No, you cannot go home yet."
The Persona: The most dangerous version of an instructor—the one who smiles warmly while calling out endless side-kick series. It’s quiet intensity. No bike momentum to help you here; it's just you, gravity, and the burn.
The Verdict?
Going from "Scream-singing on a bike" ➡️ "Whispering sweet nothingness on a reformer" ➡️ "Politely destroying cores on a mat" is an absolute wild ride.
But honestly? Having the power to match whatever energy my clients need on any given day is the ultimate superpower.

When you spend your life immersed in movement, fitness, and health, it’s easy to fall into the trap of viewing your body through the lens of performance, aesthetics, or "work." We get so caught up in what our bodies look like, or how hard we can push them, that we forget the most beautiful truth:

💛Our bodies are meant to be experienced, not just looked at.
Getting injured is a jarring reminder of how quickly the things we take for granted can be stripped away. Suddenly, the worry about a missed workout or how a certain muscle looks completely melts away. The narrative shifts from

"How do I look?" to "I just want to heal, move without pain, and feel whole again."

It shouldn’t take an injury to make us appreciate a healthy, functioning body, but sometimes the universe forces us to slow down and listen.
